Crunches Are Worthless People!

One person from work came up me a few days ago and happily told me "I did 50 crunches last night! I'm so happy! I want to get rid of this pooch so badly" I just smiled and told her good job. I really did not have the heart to tell her crunches will do absolutely nothing to get rid of the pooch. Nada. Silch.

If you already have a flat belly and are looking to tone up and strengthen it, then a proper crunch and/or sit-up will do the trick. And I mean PROPER. That means when you go up on your crunch, you need to be sure to stay elevated for at least 20-25 seconds, then slowly come back down. Your core also NEEDS to be tight at the center, belly button pushed all the way in and focusing on the breathing is key.

I had a baby 11 months ago. I gained 50 lbs during my pregnancy. Did not exercise one bit during those 9 months. I ate and I ate and I ate. I had a tough labor. My body was not prepared for it at all. A few weeks post partum, my body was in the absolute worst shape it has ever been. It was pretty depressing.
Flash-forward to now, I have a 6 pack. I am not trying to be an AW(Attention Whore) I just want to get it out there that it is possible to have the body you always dreamed of. It just takes a lot of work, a lot of determination and more sweat than you can ever imagine. But hey, the hard works does pay off.

So, how do you transform your flabby belly into a rock hard set of abs?
INTENSE CARDIO. Which equals to fast fat loss, which results in the reduction of fat in your belly, thus exposing the underlying abdominal muscles (6 pack!)
Sorry, but walking your dog for 20-30 minutes is not going to do squat. You need to be out of breath, sweating buckets and in the verge of hurling if you want to see some incredible results.
The No Pain No Gain should be your mantra.
